The hotel offers excellent value for money, with attention to detail in every aspect. From the beautiful location nestled up the mountain with a rock pool feel, to the friendly and attentive staff, this hotel truly exceeded our expectations. The rooms were a delight, with their own private onsen outdoor tub as well as a public outdoor onsen overlooking the river. The breakfast provided was delicious and authentically Japanese, adding to the overall charm of our stay.
All was more than satisfactory, no improvements needed.

Nestled in tranquil location; perfect for winding down. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The meals were brilliant, fresh and beautifully presented that left us asking for recipes! Of course, the best part of our stay was the open-air bath that overlooked a stream with koi and turtles lazily swimming around. The gardens were also worth mentioning, seemingly taken out of a Japanese painting.
While the absence of wi-fi was precisely why we chose to stay here, the need to rely on online translators due to the lack of English proficiency was somewhat tricky. I would suggest brushing up on some basic phrases before arrival or practicing some body language.

The open-air bath in our room was amazing and the traditional Japanese meals were unforgettable. the location of the hotel was perfect for a romantic escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, with stunning views of beautiful landscapes and nature. the staff members were quite helpful in providing directions and recommendations for activities to do in the town.
The language barrier was a big problem, as the staff members spoke little to no English at all. It made it difficult to communicate and ask for assistance with other things, such as ordering food and arranging transportation.

The hotel located in a serene mountain setting was breathtaking with its running water wooden bridges, Japanese gardens and an Onsen facility that looked like a rock pool. the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and the Japanese style breakfasts served in private rooms were simply delicious.
The rooms were simple but comfortable, yet the neon lights at night did take away from the authentic atmosphere.
